When did you start wearing Levi's 501's?

When did you start wearing 501's? I started at 10, and was going through a growth spurt. My Levi's just kept getting tighter and tighter, squeezing my balls and pinching them, especially when i rode my bike. I wore a hole in the crotch they were so tight. And I liked that. I have about 10 pair, varying shades of blue. My indigo are dress jeans and seldom touched. 2 pair of those.
