Definitely need good quality sterile lube, drink lots before so you can flush yourself aftewards and help alleviate problems.

Agree with all of pubeless1’s advice. Don’t rush and start slow. Too much or too fast and there will be a little of the red stuff. A little is ok and may be expected when stretching the choke points in your urethra. Sorry if I’ve put you off, but this was my reality…

Don't ram it down the hole let gravity and lube do it for you, just the lightest of pressure's to get it in.

and go slow. You should make sure that anything that goes down your cock is sterile and your hands are really clean. use KY lube, and plenty of it. I use hand sanitiser on my hands beforehand and use it on the sound too to be sure it is sterile. not nice if you get it down your cock though.
squirt the lube directly down your cock then the sound will slip in easily. start small and then try bigger.
I have only just got back into it and use a 9mm sound and that is quite tight. I did get up to 11mm a few years ago though. Good luck.
