Discovered this quite recently, a 800 mm length of 15 mm grey polybutylene barrier pipe for water suppliesis great for whacking your bottom and fairly easy to control.

I've used a wooden handled leather strap based on one used in a Belgian school, I've recently started to use a modified plimsoll it's very effective.

So difficult to make it effective I've found :( but the best thing I found was just a simple cane about 3ft long, that could start to feel right-ish....
