Why post here?

I don't get it? I guess no more stories, so reading anyones posts is a hit or miss enterprise. Instead of scrolling through posted material, I have to go look at individual profiles unless I already subscribe. Weird. Unless I'm missing something. I guess if anyone reads this and knows better, or knows a better site for fiction. I'm all ears.
