Nacho Vidal - Charges Dismissed
16 October 2012; Nacho and his sister María José Jordá González were arrested in Barcelona, suspected of involvement in 'money laundering and tax evasion' on behalf of 'Chinese' mob. Suspected of 'laundering money from prostitution and extortion'. Prosecutors sought to hold Vidal in jail during the investigation and subsequent trial but - 19 October 2012; National Court Judge Fernando Andreu accepted the defense's contention that, "Vidal is not a flight risk because he signed a contract to participate in a reality show for the next three months." - Upon his no-bail release, Vidal announced, "Thanks to everyone for their support. I've gone without any charge"...
Nacho Vidal Productions was implicated in the Spanish National Court-led sting and charged with counts of flight of capital and tax evasion. The newspaper El País described Vidal as a high-profile suspect arrested and explained that he was accused along with his sister, María of helping the ring "by issuing false invoices from his movie production company."
4 June 2020; Vidal was arrested on manslaughter charges in relation to the death of a fashion photographer, José Luis Abad. The death occurred in July 2019. Abad died as a result of 'inhaling vapors from the venom of a Colorado River toad' at Vidal's home in a traditional Amazonian ritual in which Vidal is alleged to have acted as shaman. different news story says the death was from heart attack; the crime was 'not promptly calling in medical assistance'. March 2021; Spanish authorities officially charged Vidal with 'reckless h******e' in the death of Abad following an 11-month investigation. According to court statements, Vidal acted as "the director" of the ritual and had previous experience in taking the toxin. Vidal allegedly supplied the toxin and failed to properly control the amount the victim inhaled during the ceremony. The charges were dismissed in 2023.
PERSONAL NOTE: Nacho is one of my heroes! Coming from a very, very wealthy family that lost ALL of their wealth due to corrupt federal officials, the 70's 'Energy Crisis' and a destitute economy in his homeland, Spain. He went to the streets at the age of 14, finding work doing anything he could just to help his parents and family! He was/is an extremely intelligent man. He joined the meanest/bravest branch of military, the Spanish Legion or 'Tercio' at 17. Becoming a civilian, he did 'live' sex shows with his girlfriend when he was 'found' by a porn producer. He was introduced to his 'soon to be' mentor, Rocco Siffredi who abruptly took Nacho to Hollywood. He did vids/films, becoming a director/producer/owner (including producing/directing 'gay' porn - though he adamantly claimed he is 'hetero'). He eventually did mainstream T.V. shows and film. A documentary was made of his life and his marriage to Colombian model Franceska Jaimes and family which includes a TS daughter! All Hail, NACHO!
