A poet describes masturbating over her lover
lifted
Is there anything more levitating than arching
back and folding free the torso at the very thought
of another? Not just any other, but the one. Just
the pad of the finger on the place where
I open and a field of birds, wings flapping furiously, rush
out in the sure sense prediction of the coming
storm.

You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved in return
