I nodded my head as I tried to catch my breath.. “God yes” I stuttered as she got herself dressed.. what a great way to start the day..
“I must get going now sir, I think the family next door are leaving today and I have to get the room ready for the new arrivals” she said leaving the breakfast trolley for me to finish and I was a little disappointed that the family were leaving, I felt I had unfinished business but that’s how it goes sometimes, I had no control over other people’s actions..
I was in no rush to kick on with my relaxing day so I finished off the eggs and took a long refreshing shower wondering where the day would take me and then just wrapping a towel around me I decided to make use of the facilities while the guest situation transformed, I had no idea who was coming and as I walked into the reception area I was greeted with Anna’s smiling face.. “How was your breakfast Bill, did Abby look after you?” she asked as she stood behind the counter dressed in a loose fitting white shirt and very short black skirt, looks like this uniform idea was universal and I have to say she did look rather nice.. “Oh it was perfect Anna, I do love the choice of uniform I must say” I said smiling as my eyes wandered over her body, she smiled back at me.. “I thought I’d try it out, I’m glad you approve” she said softly as I sat down on a stool for a quick chat..
“So you have new guests arriving today I hear” I asked trying to get some information and she seemed quite open about my enquiry.. “Yes we do, unfortunately the family had to check out early this morning but luckily another regular chap wanted to bring his twins for a taste of the spa facilities so they’ll be arriving at anytime” she said with a cheeky grin and I wanted to know more about the twins.. “Oh really, do tell me more” I said with a wink of my eye but Anna wasn’t going to give too much away, “I’ve met Dan a few times now, lovely young man, his wife left him a year ago and his had to bring up the twins single handed, I’ve never met them but he talks about them a lot and how curious they are becoming, he’s in his late 20’s I guess so I’m sure you’ll all get along fine” she said painting me an impressive picture and just from the look on her face told me I should stay a bit longer.. “Sounds good Anna, well I shall run along into the spa and enjoy the peace and quiet while I can then” I said as I stood up tightening the towel around my waist, Anna smiled, “Have fun” she said as I walked away towards the spa…
