Thoughts on Sex and Beauty
They say it's hard to love others if you don't love yourself. Does loving yourself mean keeping your body fit and well-nourished? I think it does. We all have gifts differing as far as beauty, just as with physical prowess at sports, or intellectual or musical talent, or creativity. It is how we make the most of our talents to have fulfilling lives, that matters. A person in a wheelchair cannot aspire to some things, a person with no musical acuity cannot become a musician. We make of life what we can.
