I agree with what you're saying, in essence. But I disagree that this is a fantasy porn site. I mean, there may be the fantasy from the viewer's/consumer's side of things, but I don't think it's any fantasy from the performer's POV. She is making very real money doing very real things. (And, let's not forget, women in porn make LOTS more than men. I've read that for some scenes a woman can make $1,000 or $2,000 while a guy makes $100 or so. How "fair" is that? It is what it is because of the marketplace.) That being said, I agree that posting comments in defense of the actors in the films is a big waste of time here. I think the men and women know what they're doing in these films. Exactly what they're doing. And to say that the women, especially, are being exploited, to me, continues the myth that "women need to be protected from men." It just doesn't make sense to me when you hold that up alongside what feminists are constantly grinding about, for the past 20 years or more, that women are free-thinking adult human beings. Because you can't have it both ways, can you now? You're either a free and willing actor in your own life, or you're not. To say, she's got a mind of her own in this situation, but over here in this situation she's being taken advantage of by the big bad meanie men....I just don't get that. To me, it makes women into infants. But that's what I think they are most of the time, anyway, so there you go....
