The coed gym
there was a gym I was member of back in va. it used to be an old European health spa if memory serves... bought by holiday health a fitness .. I joined back in the late 80's and on mon. wed. fri. it was guys day for the full size locker room and change area with showers.. on tue, thr, sat it was the women's days... and sun.. it was coed and the gym was set up as a use the same pool, showers, locker room, and change area coed. on the other days there was a over grown walk in closet to change in if it was not your turn for the full size area.. no lockers or showers, just carry your bag and go home stinky..lol but by far my favorite day was sun.
the showers had curtains and a few corners had a change curtain .. most of us were very relaxed and non pushy so this worked out well.. mostly regulars so if some guy (or gal .. but I never heard of any of the gals being a problem) was a dick head and or hit on the women. he would get a bad rep and then get the cold shoulder or a talk to .. I guess it was not much of a problem cuz I remember very little problems. I remember getting hit on, talked to while next to naked or just naked and getting out of the shower.. sometimes with just a towel on or the towel would slip( yea funny how that sort of thing can happen) and usually I was met with a big smile or a red face on the woman who would be caught looking at me. most of the time after the shock wore off it was a great ice breaker for a conversation on how much people should not be so worried about seen naked and that sort of thing... I would wear a speedo most of the time if I was going to swim .. and lets face it that hides very little so as I am walking towards the locker room or the pool area we would be chit chating about any subject that popped ..lol... I remember many times over the years catching a woman peeking thru the curtain to catch a glance of my naked body and yes I always played like I did not see them and would usually put on a good long show of how all my body parts needed washing and then bending and washing my feet without bending my knees.. or taking lots of time to wash my hair with my eyes closed and the curtain almost closed..lol
