Rejoice, rejoice. Just when I thought 2016 couldn’t get any better, it has. Why it took so long is a mystery for many of us (some of you will know that Sexist and I have been banging on about this subject for a long time). But that is all in the past now. For me she will always be number one - but even if she is not your favourite, I am sure everyone would agree that she is a worthy recipient. Congrats Tory, who my former clueless colleagues at AVN should have inducted into the Hall a good 7/8 years ago.
What a disgrace that they didn’t. This year, they likely got shamed - and deservedly so - from all quarters of the industry into finally doing the right thing.(Having worked at AVN for years, I can tell you that being “too” nasty or not “acting” and uttering enough stoopid dialogue in lame scripted features are negatives in the eyes of some AVN voters, sheesh).
I should do a blog on the Top 10 LEAST worthy AVN inductees who got into the Hall before Queen Tory. That should be good for a laugh. Or two. Or three.
But – let’s stay focused on what is truly important - CONGRATS TORY. LONG, LONG, LONG OVERDUE!!!
But number of votes cast has very little to do with election outcomes these days.
I take nothing away from Miss Lane, of course. A winner in every sense of the word.
What affects me more is understanding a little of how dedicated you are to her.
She is a star in your eyes, and that is a marvellous thing. Not every pornstar can boast such enduring support and enthusiasm; not to mention those divine Lane-laden loads. In an industry tainted with a less than admirable treatment of women, she appears a woman able and willing to play us men at our own game. And not just to survive it, but also to make a life and a career success out of it. She appears to know exactly what men want to see, and she performs it to the letter. I'm sure she'd be thrilled to have influenced your sexuality so positively.
