RIP Chester Bennington

I posted my July 19 status update (lyrics from "In the End", by Linkin Park) before reading today (July 20) that he took his own life. He and I shared common horrors, growing up, and I am sure that is one reason why I so related to Linkin Park and the music he wrote, and they produced. As it says in my profile, all of my status updates are lyrics, as music is my escape, release, solace, and refuge from the sometimes harsh and hateful reality we all live. Sucks to lose such talented, though tortured, souls as Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington (and so many others), but so thankful for the forever impact their music will have on my life, and whatever remains of it.
