I have had several cock rings, from super crapy to good quality. I came to the conclusion that I enjoy the sensation during intercourse of having one (or more) on my ball sack, I sometimes wear one just for fun. For my money, nothing beats an old-fashioned Scunci ponytail holder. They're cheap, comfortable, disposable, come in many styles and sizes, and stretch a little for a great fit. Wrap one around your dick and ball-sack for a super stiff hard on. Another product I like is Lifestyles A:muse vibrating rings available at Walmart, 4 / $10.

Oops, hit enter. I'm not a fan of the shaft rings. The metal ones have to be tight to work but can do damage if your not careful, and I don't want to damage anything. I've tried stretchy ones a few times and don't care for them. Personally I like mine best when I'm about half hard, like when I'm wearing pants and watching porn and it's growing. Love the feeling. I wear it sometimes under my pants during the day, but when my dick is small I'm afraid the weight will pull it off. My wife doesn't really like it so I usually take it off for sex, but that's all right. She did give me a fantastic hand job one afternoon while I was wearing it. She said 'it's too tight', and I said it's supposed to be tight, but it's OK and feels good. She surprised me as she's not an afternoon delight type person.

I have 2 cockrings that I like, the larger ones that go behind the whole package - shaft and balls. My favorite one is stainless steel, is about 3/4" wide, has rounded edges, and is heavy. It puts a nice tug on everything. Personally I like the feeling of something around my balls - kind of like wearing underwear and letting your junk hang out through the hole.

Hey LB- I made the attempt to use split shaft collars from an industrial supply company. They are much cheaper that the toy guys, but sometimes a little rough around the edges. Even so, then you can find your "size" and get a quality finished one without buying a bunch that don't fit. OxBalls silicone stuff is good too.
