It all started back in the sixties, yes women were wearing tights then but still a few stuck with stockings. My mum still had them but it wasn’t hers that got me into it. It was a family friend that we used to visit, let’s say her name was Mary. Mary was a lovely woman and always made a fuss of me, well I thought it was me but I guess she was like that with everybody, I thought she was beautiful and couldn’t wait until we went to visit.
