Mildene History:
Born in Menethil harbor, at least to anyone's knowledge, she was orphaned at a very young age. A warrior found her while on patrol and raised her as his own. She was sent to an academy to study magic arts by the guard commander in Menethil. However due to her violent outburst towards other students she was quickly expelled from the academy and sent back to Menethil where she followed in her father's foot steps and became a warrior. Defending the harbor from the Horde for 5 years When one day Deathwing emerged out of the Maelstorm and destroyed her home. Vowing to get vengeance she walked out of the ruins of Menethil headed for Stormwind City.

Once she arrived in Stormwind she searched for a way into the guard. Finding no luck she wandered around going from tavern to tavern drinking her frustration away. After getting into a fight with a patrol that was passing by she was thrown into the stockades. After a month went by and getting into countless fights which she had won she was released.

Upon hearing of her release the local guard captain sought her out. Asking if she wanted a job defending the Twilight Highlands from enemies. Willingly she accepted the offer determined to show her worth to the Alliance. After being in the Highlands for a month she had risen to the rank of Captain, leading several patrols and strike forces into the Highlands.

After 3 months in the Highlands she was approached by the garrison Commander, she was told that he had received word from Stormwind. They were assembling a team of champions to fight Deathwing at the Maelstorm and she was selected to be apart of the force. Eager to finally get revenge she departed for Stormwind immediately. Once there she gathered with the rest of the Alliance's champions and embarked for the Maelstorm to meet with Thrall to combat Deathwing himself. After a long and gruesome battle they had finally defeated the dragon.

Feeling empty inside after the fall of Deathwing, the vengeance she had sought being hollow. She walked away from her life as a member of the Alliance. She wandered from town to town doing what ever she was paid to do. Eventually she found herself back in Stormwind City where she purchased a small home. Although her house was in Stormwind she spent most her time south in Goldshire inside of the Lion's Pride Inn.

After months upon months a old guard who served with her in the Twilight Highlands happened to see her one day, dancing in Lion's Pride Inn. The guard had risen to the position of Commander, he approached her after she had left the Inn heading to her home. After a lengthy conversation with the Commander he made it a point that he wanted her to command a squad of his in their operation in Pandaria. Feeling no sense of accomplishment in her work at the Inn she accepted the Commander's offer.

Months later in Pandaria, after countless skirmishes with the Horde in their fight for a beach head. She felt that same unmistakable feeling she had felt before, when she took vengeance upon Deathwing. Hollowness, she abandoned her post as Captain once again. This time marking her as a deserter, the alliance sent operatives after her. Attempting to make her return to the front lines where she was a force to be reckoned with, leaving countless bodies in the mud around her feet. Eventually they stopped sending people after her, even though they knew she was only a short ride to Goldshire.

Returning home one day she was ambushed by the Stormwind guard, after a gruesome fight for what seemed hours she was finally subdued by the most unlikely person to be in a street brawl. The king Varian Wrynn, upon hearing that one of his greatest champions that had deserted the guard was living her life safely in Stormwind he made it his personal mission to put an end to that way of life. She was imprisoned below Stormwind Keep, in a dungeon reserved for those that could not be held in the stockade. Until the Dark Portal opened up to the past, before Draenor became the broken land known as Outlands.

She was offered a bargain, return to service and finish the remainder of her contract. Or remain imprisoned for the rest of her life. Taking the only option that made sense to her, she was released from the dungeon. She returned home and dug out her chest, and polished her armor. Her sword sharp and armor and shield polished she made her way to the Dark Portal. Leading the Vanguard, she knew she was not expected to survive this initial push. Placed at the very front to die, this very thought drove her into a relentless fury. She carved her way through the Orcs creating a opening to get the Alliance to a ship and retreat away from the Dark Portal.

Countless battles in countless different areas she finally was standing at the gates of Hellfire Citadel. With the help of fellow champions they assaulted the Citadel, driving back the legion that had inhabited it. After a long battle with Archimonde they had finally slain the eredar. Once the battle was over she made her way back home, to Stormwind. Walking through the great Stormwind keep to King Varian Wrynn she threw her sword and shield at his feet and demanded she be released from his service. Reluctantly the King agreed and released her from service to the Alliance.
