至 itsme2853 : California is a pretty big place; the SF Bay Area is a 6-8 hour drive from LA, depending on how fast you drive and whether you take one of the more scenic routes, so: up north we're not affected by the fires currently burning through Socal. Donald Trump would rather make a Tik-Tok demonstrating his sure-fire method (the secret ingredient is peroxide!) for removing tile grout stains than publicly admit that climate change is a thing that is actually happening. That, and his celebrated distaste for California and our squirrelly liberal politicians (Ronald Reagan, Dick Nixon, Snoop Dogg) make it very difficult for him to budge from his obdurate stance that we deserve whatever we get in the way of natural disasters...
