MY STORY....

A life of feeling unnecessary guilt and a desperate search for some reasons why I feel the way I do, eventually led me to Dr. Harry Benjamin’s Gender Orientation Scale. I found that I'm Type Five: True Transsexual (moderate intensity)

I've copied and pasted the Kinsey and Benjamin scales below if anyone is curious and would like to read? Of course please keep in mind that these scales are NOT the final definition, classification or end of possibilities for the human condition! As for myself, I find I'm constantly fluctuating and evolving from day to day. A condition impossible to classify completely into a single "type"! I did find that these types do serve as a loose guideline for myself. A starting point of which helped me better understand traits/qwerks about myself and where I personally stand with regards to socially perceived identity contradictions my life does present.

My entire existence I've felt a lot more on the feminine side than the other boys. I began wearing girls clothes (which I had stolen from my cousin) at a very young age, about 9-10 years old. I was pretty! I felt good and comfortable so then decided to show off my new found fashion to others... A parental figure(father type) thought otherwise.... I was chastised and shown how to feel the false shame about what I can or cannot enjoy for myself as a man. I unfortunately then kept these desires secret and to myself for too many years. The hiding and secrets, turned to hostility and depression..... I then realized if I ever wanted to truly live and be happy with myself, inside and out, I had to make a change immediately. I then stopped hiding in the shadows. I cut-out all narrow and closed minded people from my life, and vowed that I would never deny my feelings or live my life by someone else's standards ever again.

Today, I am free! Free to live the life I always deserved to live, even after being unnecessarily and very unjustly imprisoned in those younger years!
